A black-tie reception for guest followed at the Tupelo Country Club where white tents protected revelers from the rain. The bride’s cake was a stacked affair with buttercream icing adorned with fresh flowers. The groom’s cake was a chocolate layer confection paired with a Texas-shaped shortbread cookies. A Southern supper was served and music by the Pat Patrick Band kept the dance floor crowded late into the night.
